commission WIP (also my progress comparison)

anyways! here's a WIP of a commission for my very dear irl friend
i used to draw a ton of comms for her, we even met and became friends because she commissioned me through tumblr (cringe) and later we realized that we live not only in the same country, but also in neighboring cities
about 2,5 years ago we both decided to take a break from this long chain of commissions for different personal reasons but a few weeks ago she asked if she can commission me to draw one of her dnd ocs that i used to draw before and really liked
well, not only did this commission single handedly dragged me out of a huge af artblock (and now my adhd brain won't stop until i draw every possible thing in this universe at once AGAIN) but it turned out as a perfect opportunity to reflect on my levelup/progress in the past ~3 years
it's been a wild journey and we all know i tend to overwork like crazy. add my impostor syndrome and very low self-esteem so I always think I could do better.
but hey.. not too bad for 2 years and 9 months??? I think???
anyways, I'll probably post the final, colored version during next week
but right now i need to make my brain shut up or I'll spend the whole night sketching things I'll never finish (again) :')
also, idk, maybe looking at my levelup will inspire someone and help to feel a bit more confident about their current skill and what they could achieve in the pretty much nearest future? I'll be glad if that's the case!
