About the thing where the kids uncle opened up his visor while in space is very real, he made sure to blow out all the air from his lungs, so the vacuum of space wouldnt rip it out violently. If you do that you can be exposed to space for a brief time very easely without harm. It would just be very cold and might suffer a bit of radiation damage. But it wouldnt be anymore than the sun already does to us. So it was very realistic in that sense. But I understand the confusion there, media depics being exposed to the vacuum very differently, usualy with gory implosion, but this is not what happens.
