Update about faithful PBR
Added 2021-11-02 17:55:21 +0000 UTCSo, faithful PBR is nearing a state of change, the pack’s textures are basically “done” (since 0.17) but are also now difficult to manage. The 2048x and 1024x versions of the pack are now too big to run in full; Minecraft can only load so many textures at once, and 1024x and 2048x have surpassed that size. Starting soon, a lot of the textures in the pack will be re-made to reach the high standards I and many of you expect, (the textures will look a whole lot better).
I will also restructure the release and pricing of the packs. The 32x and 64x versions will be free, (however you can get them early in the £5 and £10 tiers), the 128x, 256x and 512x versions will be exclusive to the £5 patrons, but can be got early in the £10 tier. The 1024x and 2048x versions will be then exclusive to my £10 tier and won’t have any early exclusivity. And of course all the other cool stuff I make will remain as they are. The already released versions of the packs will remain public, however any public updates to them will remain infrequent at best. Next month’s (December’s) release for the non-2048x version of Faithful PBR will be release 1.0, which could be the final public update for some of these packs. The next premium update for the 2048x will be first update to include the new and improved textures, so look out for them!

• Faithful PBR textures are being remade to look way better!
• (Major) updates for the 128, 256, 512 1024 and 2048x versions will be exclusive to my patrons
• Next month may be the final (major) free update for some packs
• This month's 2048x update will be the first to include the new textures
