A couple weeks ago Samantha was back in town from Denver, Colorado and we got together on Sunday afternoon and spent the day lounging by the pool at her hotel with one of her friends Veronica and her little Pomeranian named Froggy. We drank, laughed and smiled. Later in the evening we went out to a fantastic dinner at Bar Mateo, a vegan/plant based restaurant for more drinks, laughs, smiles and of course; food.
The next day Samantha and I started our day with a submission to The Battle Of The Butt Photo. She then got partially dressed and we shot an array of digital, 120, 35mm and Polaroid. I swear, there is no such thing as a bad photo of this lady.
We packed up, left the hotel and hopped in the car to ship off to one of my favorite beaches in Malibu, California. Samantha kept asking me what beach, where it was, what the name of it was; but I was hard pressed not to tell her and leave it as a surprise. As we drove up the Pacific Coast Highway she kept asking if that was the one as we passed several places where the land kissed the water. Finally, twenty two miles up the PCH, we were there. With just a few people on the beach; we set up shop, put music on, busted out the alcohol and relaxed. Of course, I picked up all of my cameras eventually and shot her. More of this story to come, stay tuned. For now, Polaroids. Enjoy!
All of the Polaroids were shot on Polaroid Originals SX-70 Type Color and B&W film as well as Fujifilm FP-100C Color Professional Film with a Polaroid MiniPassport.
