It's unclear as to why he felt it necessary to change his hair color, or what on earth that surf board is going to accomplish while in a rental shop. To be fair, however, there's a lot about this that's unclear.

I kind of pictured the pinup universe as one where magic is more free and visible, and people just randomly transform by things like meteors or tea or for no apparent reason at all. I figured people would be used to it, but if they're making movies about it, so much the better. :)

Maybe an inter-shop event between the video rental and the gaming shop? Buy a sea-themed game at Justin's shop and get a free rental of Jaws or Point Break, or something like that?
