There's a part of me that wonders why Pandora hasn't tried to guide someone to name their child, "Neverbores Pandora" with the hope of giving her a name-based affinity.

The issue with name-based affinity is an affinity determined by a name someone was given at birth. She wouldn't have an issue with Spider-Man, for example, because the guy was born "Peter Parker".
