Indeed, I doubt she'd appreciate someone magically turning all the LGBTs straight. Tho that is better than the mundane attempts.

Not just out of a sense of empathy in forcing someone to change their beliefs, no matter how misguided, but of not wanting someone else to do the same to me. Regardless of the good I might do with it, I prefer to live in a world where such things are impossible. The risk of such power in the wrong hands is just too great.

Because that's what I prefer to believe. :) Also, is there a better noun for this than "gay"? I feel like both "gay" and "homosexual" work a lot better as adjectives than nouns.
