Female Figure Poll - Public

Which of these options do you like? Note that the first two options are exceptions, the first option being a way to say "I'm not interested in these" and affect the statistics without choosing any of the other options.

You can choose multiple options.

The title says "public" because I'm going to have a $5+ version of this poll. I'm interested in seeing if there's a significant statistical difference among those who vote in end of month polls.

Please note that this is generally speaking, and I know context matters.

I wonder how Nanase might look as a Thark...

Merle Blue

Thanks for this poll! Really interesting to see the results. And I am also intrigued to notice that the options I checked as things I'd like to see in the comic are transformations I would like to have put on me. --This would make an already complicated thing even more complicated, but a "I don't care about changes in X," like a more specific version of the "I don't care about this one way or another" checkbox, would be interesting too.

Halbereth

Same here

Halbereth

THANK YOU for including the "no transformation" option! I know it must sound weird for a fan of this comic, but body changes that feel aimed at pleasing my gaze (i.e. "fanservice") - as opposed to plot or character demands - are so very creepy to me. (Not judging others for what pleases them; I'm pretty sure some of MY kinks would be deemed "creepy" by others) but it's nice to be able to vote that way.

Lesley Knieriem

Oh, *totally.* I'm all about changes that introduce something at odds with a character's original body and mindset, if only for the whole "experience very out of the ordinary" aspect of the situation it generally causes. It's one reason I'm all up for things like Susan going cowgirl/ditzy/carefree! But since it's a major reversal of what the character originally is, I can see why it might not appeal to some readers, ya know?

Val Salia

There's only so many options that can be on a poll. Clothing will be later.

Dan Shive

Alternatively, it could be Attribute Donation.

Foradain

To quote Akiko, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, don't cut your hair!"

Foradain

Yeah, Dan tends to keep his stuff at a Star Trek level of inhuman. I’d be really interested in seeing him go for something outside that, like additional limbs/boobs/heads, biblical angels, or tentacle monsters. I’ve suggested it a couple times, but iirc none of them ever got traction.

Viktor

I felt closer to "meh" about most of the boxes I did not check. Maybe others did too?

John Trauger

The one thing I'd like to have seen on the poll is skin coverage. I would expect votes for nekkid or nearly so to dominate but I imagine there's a few others like me that prefer our girls at least somewhat clothed. I'd encourage Dan to look at the pool results as an indicator of how often we would like to see any given change. and give some occasional love to all of them over the long haul.

John Trauger

Not immediately, but yes.

Dan Shive

That sounds okay. I've see it used for revenge or just to be mean, which is what turned me off to it.

M.

Will we get a similarly thorough "Male figure poll" as well? :3

Idni

My preference is accidental and/or ironic attribute theft. Only one I could think of that would be on purpose would be Lucy and Rhoda switching heights.

Dan Shive

Since you said so: my only real "do not want" things are weight gain/pregnant belly (since I don't find either of those figure types attractive) and transfer, which I've also seen called "attribute theft" (it just seems so <i>mean</i>). I voted for what I like and I'm okay with the other stuff, but those are the things that just plain keep me from enjoying a picture.

M.

I want to vote against the pregnant belly option. That one is an absolute NO to me

Wild Card

I'm more interested in the animal stuff and in what unique looks you come up with than in any particular body parts or whatnot.

Jane Bailey

Dan frequently does cat/dog/bunny girl transformations, and has occasionally done "monster girl" things (vampires, werewolves and mermaids come to mind). I'd like to see a few more of the "monster girl" types. Things like centaurs, harpies, dryads, lamia, arachne, slimes... I know they might not be that popular, but maybe for a Halloween special or something?

I would probably use something easier to draw, but I really like transfer stuff.

Dan Shive

They update on refresh.

Dan Shive

Wait, do the numbers on the page update as other people vote? Or are you just referring to how many votes there already are/were?

Fenrir

*sees transfer option* Is there a return of that scales thing from the Sarah/Nanase pinup in the cards? :D (I thought that was a cool "cursed artifact")

Fenrir

Seconded; weird is fun!

Brooks Moses

You could also just specify here what your "do not want" is. I mean, I'm viewing not voting for something as a "do not want" anyway, but still.

Dan Shive

Most of the options (14/20) have "negatives" to vote for, and 3 of the remainders form a trioka of options with "not vote" being the null-options

James C

How do you do a negative vote to show you are against one of the options? Not the same as not voting for it, I want to down vote that option rather than up-vote it.

Wild Card

Yes, Stephen. Although fuzzy legs are cute, I think that'd be hard to pitch for a pinup.

McZed

Wait, are you talking specifically about hair on the scalp, or...

Stephen Gilberg

Well, honestly, I don't think a Thri'keen can be sexy and, as such, the transformation would only be interesting story-wise (or for a cool Halloween picture). Otherwise, a simple "Shive-style" Thri'keen would be interesting, but there would be no reason for it to be a transformed Diane. The dryad, however, is a really good idea. Or naiad, so you can also have the hair growth, with her hair becoming foaming water flowing down her back (and, as such, with more volume than Dian'e's usual hairdo). (in pictures, dryads tend to have ivy hair or tree limbs, which can be fun, but is less interesting in my opinion, as it lacks the combination of movement and volume that water could lend) What? No, I don't see why you think I second the hair growth motion. :-)

Alexis Darbon

Kyman, I'm not kidding. If you gave me a sequence where Diane turned into a Thri'keen matriarch and Sarah turned into a grape vine dryad I'd be delighted.

McZed

Wow, hair growth/shortening are big ones I'd enjoy. In general I'm surprised how much of this doesn't appeal to me. I like the swap and exchange style options as a sort of "what if these designs were different or contrasted", and I have no objections to most wide sweeping transformations like shrinking, animals, fur, but changing individual parts of individuals makes me feel kind of squicky. Hm.

Joshua

You call that last one weird rather than fanservice but I'd like a Sequence Pinup of Nanase going from short-sporty hair to Rapunzel Hair.

Kyman201

Other choices I like that weren't listed: *Transformation into a thing of wire and chitin, monstrous and horrifying, yet compelling in a way a thing of this world should not be. *Ambiguous changes that cannot be noticed easily, and yet make you say "how did I miss that" when pointed out. *Extra limbs. *Suddenly becomes fruit bearing. *Hair growth. I must emphasize that I am not being sarcastic. I like weird as much as I like fanservice. :B

McZed

I tend to be this way as well.

Dan Shive

That was quick, watching votes go in so fast!

Blu3wolf

I might be an odd one but generally my preference is 'outside of their usual'. So, sarah susanbecoming busty is fun and their reactions to it while nanse becoming smaller, etc. It's the juxtaposition that makes it fun. Similiarly, the idea of taking what they have to the extreme end is also fun.
