Ignoring whatever changes might have happened, magic DOES affect Grace, but she basically absorbs transformation magic in such a way that it usually doesn't affect her clothing. If the transformation magic were to target her clothing separately, however, it could work. It just won't work if the clothing transformation is a side effect created by magic radiating from her, which is how most transformations with clothing side effects work.

(That said, the recent change in magic which resulted in old forms of magic working again *may* have changed that...>_> The Uryome Golem seems evidence that Grace isn't magic-proof anymore)
