Susan and Liz had somehow managed to convince their professor to let them experiment with tea for a science project.
Initially, Susan took quite detailed notes, but not long after drinking a cup of "Bubbly Tea", she found herself much more absent minded, and easily amused and distracted.
It didn't help that Liz had chosen "Glitter Tea", and wound up with sparkly hair and clothing (what little of it was left after drinking the tea), and had become fascinatingly shiny.
It also didn't help that the next step involved more tea.

I didn't go into this expecting to give Susan pink hair, but I wanted it to wind up something other than mostly black, and I liked the result. Plus I associate pink with bubblegum, so it's fitting.
That poster in the back is there because I felt there needed to be something on the wall there, and the design was inspired by the sort of poster you'd find in a record store (REMEMBER THOSE?!) with funny lists of various things with pictures. I had one in particular that was various smiley face emotions.
I guess you can still get funny posters, but if you're not buying them from a record store while still in school, what's even the point?

The magic tea isn't an IQ reducer, though the ease of distraction and playfulness could make it seem that way. That said, assuming a lack of distractions, Susan in this form could pass a test just as easily as normal Susan.

2018-06-02 04:16:13 +0000 UTCWoah, wait-a-minute. We got ourselves some multi-layer shadows here! I feel like this is a thing I haven't seen before, although it's possible I just didn't notice it. I like it! It really helps to show how they're in a transition area between the light source and the shadow cast by the second bunk. That said, it *does* exacerbate the way Dan tends to draw shadows on stomachs as though the character doesn't have a bust (notice how Susan's right boob is clearly catching light from a source mostly above her, but the shadow below it is concave)
