That moment when everyone on your team is a support class.
As far as the games inspiring these comics, however, I've rarely found it an issue, because I generally don't exclusively treat my character as a support class.
It is possible to do that in some games, however, so there could be times when one's companion needs to be able to take a lot of hits and such while you're on the sidelines helping keep them healthy. That's only really if you play in an unusual way, however.
There is the potential danger of choosing a particularly non-stealthy companion if you're being sneaky, however, which I would say is the more likely and common issue with companions. Heck, in Fallout 4, robot companions don't even know HOW to sneak, which is sort of weird given that one of the expansions lets you give them a power that increases your own sneak ability if they're nearby.
