I probably should have determined Ashley's acting abilities before I bought her that opera house.
I would say "at least she's a better actor than George", but this assumes George was giving this his all, and, well... Call it a hunch, but I think he might be phoning this in.
Pizza everywhere
The reason I chose pizza is because I don't care much for pizza, either, and have dealt with the same things that George lists here.
Put another way, I deliberately chose a food one could have issues with for reasons beyond subjective taste that could be articulated and understood without feeling the same way.
Incidentally, I do like buffalo wings with mild, and some other, sauces. This is what I generally get if a pizza place is involved. That, or I just eat pizza. It's not like I hate pizza. I just like other things significantly more.

Unrelated to my earlier comment (and ensuing discourse)... George's piece there (and Dan's bit in the commentary about "it's not like I hate pizza") is basically how I feel about tacos (and all Mexican food to some degree, except nachos)

2019-07-09 03:07:47 +0000 UTCSame, but for me it'll depend on the place, cause some pizza joints have awful wings. Burnin' Hot from Hut are some of my favorites & their pizza is top of my list for pizza, but pizza is pretty low on the list of preferred foods. Then there's the topping debacle...

There's been some persistent speculation about what the pizza means, and some have considered it being about LGBT+ things given my writing it and the timing with some mild recent Facebook page drama. A desire to be clear that one is being literal about pizza suggestions and isn't being metaphorical isn't unreasonable.

Suggesting alternatives for *pizza* is not even REMOTELY on the same level as suggesting that a gay person just hasn't met the right opposite-sex partner. It's literally just making a culinary suggestion. I feel like you're spent way too much time on tumblr or something.

Alfredo or even pesto instead of marinara for sauce? Super-crunchy cracker-thin St. Louis style crust? Detroit style deep dish?
