I suppose it might be just the last few strips have been fantasy. Maybe Elliot/Tedd in the basement has been real, but the strips starting with Elliot flying round in a circle might be a fantasy in Tedd's head after she got affected by Elliot's semi-strip show.

Heck depending on how deep you want to go, maybe the cheerleadra and female tedd actresses aren't actually Elliot and Tedd. (It would be an AU from the usual behind the scenes banter if that was the case)
