Everything is relative, and when you started at school after Nanase, well... You might seem strange, but not AS strange as you might otherwise.
My intent with how Camelia said it: "Na-Ne-See."
Apologies if you read it as "Nane-see" or something.

2022-02-17 20:53:52 +0000 UTCThe せ is closer to "say". I'm not sure that "see" pronunciation can be written in Hiragana. That "ee" sound would be a Japanese i, い, and the し character is pronounced "shee". I know there is some way to write it, as Katakana "um, finds a way" with foreign words, but I am Katakana scrub trash, and could not say how. I just know I had a tutorial on at one point that explained a thing that has since left my brain space. Equal timing and pronunciation would be given to each な, so it would just be na-na. Pitch might shift, but not timing and pronunciation.
