I wrote "later" before I even knew what I was going to draw in the first panel, or knowing whether it actually would be obvious just from the visual.
For whatever reason, I got as far as the comic being, well, DONE before thinking "you know, I probably don't need that narration". By then, however, I definitely didn't want to mess with making the panel taller, so I made a joke out of it.

That's not Genma, that's the Kung-fu Panda. They stopped making Genma plushies back in the 1990s.
