- Oh yeah, that whole theory
Imagination Elliot was originally silent, but I wound up with enough negative space that I wanted SOMETHING there, so...
"Movies!"
Speaking of earlier plans, the whole eyes-closed aspect of Ellen's performance was a relatively late idea, and I originally planned to just have George react to Ellen's ability as a performer. I'm happier with this, as it convinces George that he has evidence that perfectly fits Elliot.
Speaking of paying attention, the first thing I saw was George's last line, and immediately went to, "wait, somebody quartered the chicken? Was it breaded?"

Of course, the chicken has quarters! How else could it play the video games in the tavern?

Lmao, I totally forgot about the George Thinks Ellen and Elliot Are The Same Person subplot.

The chicken has its own room in the mayor's manor?
The mayor's son, sick of living in the chickens shadow, kidnaps it, turns it into cyborg and forces it to watch a series of animated shorts.
Thus Robot Chicken is born!

He's George, he's too perceptive to not know something's up. And the truth is significantly weirder than his guess.

I know the backstory here, but this reminds me of something McGruder did in The Boondocks, where the nice white lady confused Huey and Riley, leaving Huey in a spitting rage because he interpreted it as her thinking all Black kids look alike. His younger brother had to remind him that, well, they were brothers and actually *did* look alike.
In this case, I can see someone verbally slapping George and reminding him that it isn't that weird for siblings to act somewhat alike.
