To be clear, Diane and Lucy hadn't even suggested bowling yet. Rhoda just assumed they inevitably would.
Which might sound a BIT unfair, but we already know she wasn't wrong to expect it.
That said, sometimes people defy expectations, such as Catalina taking the mature "let's make sure your friends are comfortable" route.
Granted, I'm not sure how defying of expectations that actually was. Catalina can be loud, rude, and reckless, but she's definitely caring. I just couldn't pass up that opportunity for a segue about defying expectations.
