Commentary
Catalina bowls like I make collectible card game decks.
I'm pretty sure actually throwing a bowling ball as hard as you can into bumpers could be dangerous depending on the bumpers, but I'm also not sure. I recommend not testing this.
And for anyone unfamiliar, yes, bowling lanes can be set up so there are effectively no gutters, and there's basically no chance of not hitting at least one pin (unless the ball stops before reaching them). There appear to be different ways of blocking off and/or filling the gutters, so I imagine the bounce factor varies.
For this comic, I mostly just recalled my own ancient memories of bumper bowling, and I remember rounded, bouncy-looking sides.

2024-05-21 09:08:49 +0000 UTCI’d suggest Catalina might like Pool or Billards… But they require finesse. Just the right amount of force. Giving Catalina a stick and telling her to hit some balls into each other sound dangerous for some reason.
