Time to move.
Added 2020-10-24 16:52:34 +0000 UTCSo I've discovered that Yiff.party and SVScomics has been scraping and hosting all the content here within minutes of me posting. And I'm disheartened by that. I want to be completely transparent about why I'm abandoning patreon for something better.
Firstly I'm pausing all payments here, none of you will be charged this month - I don't feel it is fair on the genuine supporters who put their own money up, making it possible for me leave my day job and spend long weekends on artwork. I don't see why you should continue to subscribe and pay for content on behalf of parasites.
The biggest issue is that Patreon have failed completely to address the problem, in the span of 5 years they sent 2 DMCA's and then gave up, saying that it's the artists problem, as they don't own the artwork and they cannot protect it. So I am choosing to take my talent elsewhere.
A simple move to a site which cares about this will make me feel much better - It's not too hard to inconvenience yiffparty's patreon specific scrape bots, and their community is toxic enough that anything that takes money or effort (like supporting their own piracy server's running costs) creates 400 post forum threads of begging and selfishness,.
I will continue to create and release artwork here *for free* while I find alternatives to patreon, but I'm completely done with Patreons indifference, lack of evolution on their format. the slow, poor quality interface, and inability to communicate well with supporters. There are far better options out there.
Although my motivation to finish part 2 of Fallout tales is done for the time being, I will still be making sketches and honoring $20 commissions here which I will be sending via email. Whatever happens I'm very grateful for the last three months, and your wonderful support which made this possible. It is likely that I will have an account on SubscribeStar and be active again by the end of the month.

Did they even credit you in the galleries? It just galls me that such a talented artist would suffer so much abuse while trying to start up. Well. Whatever. If SubscribeStar works better for you, let's do that.

Ironically yiffparty is doing a much better job of archiving and making my entire library navigable/easily accesible than Patreon ever did.

2020-10-24 17:22:14 +0000 UTCI don't mind some piracy, it'll always happen to some extent. But this is on an industrial scale specifically with patreon, and patreon is doing nothing about it. Honestly, all i want is something a little more secure so my work is only leaked after a month or two - rather than the instant i publish it.

Plus there is a privacy issue, all supporter comments are being published on yiffparty too, so be careful what you write
