Hope everything is going as smoothly as it possibly could with you guys.

You know it's REALLY hard to refrain the desire to share my thoughts on some issues/projects with you when it's too early to share? This is what I'm feeling right now. 

Anyways, the artist had just recovered from the "cold", which is like the greatest news, ever. The artist had never got a test so we wouldn't know if it's COVID or not but just glad the artist had recovered from it. 

Amazing as the artist always is, the art production is going along with the schedule. Fingers crossed for it to remain this way until December. 

Did you guys get excited about the teaser I released days ago? Our artist pushed the quality to another level in that pic imo. And the Animation of this scene is just, oof, I'll leave you guys to generate your own thoughts when we release it in a few days.

Meanwhile, I don't want to tease too much to a point that it would spoil the fun for you guys. But this animation is an exception, I'll only release one stage of it, so it should be good :P

So this is basically it for this blog.  

Oh btw if you haven't noticed, we put up a progress update chart on our front page so it should make it easier for you guys to keep in track with the development status of Milky Touch. 

We will update it every other day and don't panic when you are seeing the number grow in a slow pace in the first 30-45 days of our development cycle. Just pay attention to the art progress since that's the ONLY limiting factor of our development progress, as long as the arts are delivered on time, there shouldn't be any major delays take place for MT. 


Traditional Progress Update: 


Arts:

Pretty solid progress, we finished the first animation and the first still scene set is about to be finished. Which left us another animation set + two still image sets.
The artist should have it nailed in the next 40 days or so. 


Writings: 

Editing the outline at the moment, there were some changes done to the overall structure of day 17's story so we had to tweak it a bit more. But the general outline should be ready tmr and the writings would be able to follow up shortly. 


Coding:

Waiting for all the assets co converge. 


BGM + SFX

One BGM and a set of SFX for the animation scene has been done, more incoming in the net 40 days. 


VA: 

Waiting for scripts to begin working.
