Added 2024-07-26 19:00:31 +0000 UTCBoy, am I excited to share the first thing in line with you guys. I've been working on this one for a loooong time. It's fun and kind of cheeky, and does a good job of being a good origin story for one of the mankillers.... in addition to having some usual MK action, some sci-fi induced ballooning muscle, and some cool feats of strength. I know it's taken me a while to get this one done, but it has SEVERAL long takes rendered with complex shadows and backgrounds, which takes longer to create. This shot alone is 640 frames, which equals over 21 seconds.
But, on the upside, it has a TON of great dialogue from our voice actress. I still have 8-10 scenes to render yet, and then I have to cut it together and add music and SFX. I'm hoping to have it wrapped up early next week. I think you're going to like it!
I'll get some other new stuff posted to tide you guys over until her arrival!

Hi there! Sure thing -- I'm rendering shot 74b as we speak! (I have a tendency to let these things get out of control as I get more and more ideas once I get started). This one is taking a little longer than usual, since there are some editing tricks I have to employ....(hint: the mystery" character makes it the MKU's first official "period" film. :-) I should never make predictions as to when a clip will be ready because I always miss the mark. But I'm down to the last few scenes, then I can get them cut together. I'm curious to see what everybody thinks of this one. It's not super action-heavy, and has a little bit more of a story than the usual fare. But there's some growth in it, which every has been asking for, and I'm going to try to make more of.
