What got me into this genre/niche/interest? I suspect it's brain chemistry, but as far as a single super bad grrl action scene/movie/show.... the first thing that comes to mind is Cruise Ship to the Stars, and the performance by Trisha Noble.
She was an Australian actress who did a lot of episodic TV guest spots when I was a kid, and a few small movies. So she popped up on our TV screens as Sabrina, the super-powered jewel thief who fought ol Buck Rogers for 45 mins one week. After thinking about this for far too long: I came up with 3 reasons this stuck with me:
1. it came along right when I was ready to see it, or at least remember it :)
2. Trisha was a drop-dead, scorching hot stone-cold fox with an hourglass figure and swing to her hips that was entrancing.
3. For the first time I can remember, her character was a Mankiller-level bad grrl. She was strong enough to throw bodyguards around like pillows, and she openly ENJOYED her power. It thrilled her. And she liked SCARING people with her powers. She was 100% super bad grrl.
Anyway, this has all led to the latest AI-enhanced video. Some downsampled blu-ray quality, but this time I intercut all of Super Sabrina's action clips with a mock "wanted" video profile, followed by clips of her in action intercut with some AI-formulated, mankiller-style muscle making an appearance. Super Sabrina!
14 mins of classic bad grrl action with an MK twist, now in the AI video storage folder.
