There is hope
Added 2025-09-06 14:42:23 +0000 UTCI'm not a huge gamer, but I've become aware of the unveiling of a new character (Angela) from a Marvel game, and she's being called "a tank." She's all over my Twitter feed, and while reactions to a muscley women are always mixed, it's been a surprisingly positive debut.
Well, I was in the local mall this week, and a gaggle of teenagers was in the movie/game/collectible store, and it became obvious pretty quickly they were talking (loudly) about her. As I thumbed through the Blu rays (yes, I still buy physical media), the entire store couldn't help but overhear their amazement (and pure appreciation) of the character's design. The consensus was that this new character is going to be a big hit, and as he passed me, the ringleader of the group said "she's got an incredible body, but it's the abs -- she is JACKED. I think she's hot as f***!"
