Update on 18/12/2024: So one thing is clear, I'm still really bad at estimating release dates. 😭
Once again, sorry about the delay and lack of content.
The positive news is the newly rebuilt version of game isn't too far away now. In fact it's almost in a stable enough state where I could release it.
However, with a bunch of the newer features that were added over the last few versions still not in the new version of the game (as they still need to be rebuilt from scratch for the new version). I would rather take some more time to get as many of those features recreated for the new version of the game before releasing it.
Ultimately, I don't want it to feel like a step forward in several respects and a step back in others.
I promise that once the rebuild is done I won't be doing any programming work this extensive and time-consuming for the rest of the project.
In the meantime I will try to pull myself away from all the coding to create a teaser video of the new version - probably showing some clips of the new physics based sex animations, the redesigned UI (for mobile and PC), customization features, and maybe even some of the real time gangbang system in action. 👀
So stay tuned for that.
I promise it will be worth this frustratingly long wait when the new version of the game finally releases.

I know I initially said I'd be releasing another bonus character for the previous scene, however I've decided two bonus character releases for the last scene was probably enough.
Instead I will now be focusing all my efforts on getting the next version of Nasty Virtual ready for release (v0.03)... which brings me to the reason I am making this post. My plans for the upcoming release have changed.
Although you will still be getting the new characters as promised, some of the other proposed features will likely take a backseat for now as I focus my attention on some things that really need to be done as soon as possible in order to ensure this project can reach its full potential:
As I've been developing this project over the last months I have found a lot of the systems I built for the game in the months prior to be increasingly limiting in terms of the complexity and the quality of sex animations I am able to create for the game.
In particular I've found that attempting to create sex animations involving threesomes, foursomes and even 5-somes(? 🤔) to be extremely impractical with the way the current animation system works. Essentially the current system was designed to handle interactions between two characters and trying to extend that to work with more than two characters just isn't producing the results I want.
I also just find the current animation system to be really buggy far too often and not all that physically realistic to look at - at times. It's also a nightmare to deal with when trying to create bondage (BDSM) sex animations with tied wrists, ankles or really any sort of rope physics. It also doesn't play well with my attempts to add a rag-dolling/limpness feature that can be toggled during sex animations.
So as a result of these limitations, I've decided to (and have already begun) rewriting the entire animation system for the game, as well as parts of the physics system so that it can more seamlessly handle multiple characters at once.
This is obviously no small task and will probably take a little while to get done - however the good news to report is that the early results are already looking very promising (will have some clips to show soon).
Once done, the new system will allow for more realistic, true physics based sex animations (the current system is only partly physics based, the new animation system will now be fully physics based).
It should also allow for double and triple penetrations - which was something the previous system simply was not going to be able to handle convincingly.

TLDR: having this new animation system will allow me to do a bunch of things I am currently unable to do right now - and that's a great thing for the project going forward.
Of course with any good news there is often a little bad as well, and the not-so-good news here is that all the sex animations in the game will need to be redone from scratch in the new animation system I am creating.
This will of course also take some time, however since I would rather put content out more frequently, I will likely release v0.03 with a couple fewer animations than in previous versions so as to get it out much sooner. I'm aiming to release sometime around December 6th.
Hopefully having threesomes and a couple other new features should help offset any disappointment from temporarily losing a few of the animations*
Not as much the write for this one, but probably just as significant a change to how things will be done from here on out.
Each release will now include all the Rule34 inspired characters that have been created so far.
You will be able to select any of them from within the game. And that's really all there is to say on that.
The only downside to this is the file size of each new version release will climb to about 800-900mb, however I'm about 99% sure a lot of you will still rather have this new change despite the added file size.
'New Girl' Button
In addition to having all the inspired characters in each release, you will also be able to have an entirely new girl appear anytime you want.
If choosing the new girl option, then a new girl will appear with a randomly chosen race, hair style, body type and facial features. You will be able to tweak their proportions and customize them as usual, or simply request for another girl to appear.
So if you'd rather see something a little different than the popular (Rule34) inspired beauties then you will now have that option too. 😎
The next version of Nasty Virtual will include an option to view the game in one or more different art styles.
I am largely adding this in order to support the next item on this list, but aside from that I also think the game could look really interesting in different art styles.
Being an entirely visual feature there is not a whole lot to say on this, as this is more of a "wait till you see it" type of thing.
I will also be dedicating a good chunk of my time to working on the first mobile version of the game for Android devices.
It will initially be quite stripped back (mostly visually) and might even be in a completely different art style to what you've been accustomed to so far, however I will ensure it still looks visually appealing.
Performance is the big concern here and that is where I will have a lot of work to do. Thankfully I've been working hard on the performance of the base game itself and a lot of that will hopefully transfer over to the mobile version - but it remains to be seen how it will perform.
In any case, I am excited to be finally working on making the game available to a whole bunch of new players - as I am aware that not everyone has a PC capable of playing the game, but most of us do have fairly powerful smartphones.

Oh, and just a quick heads up. When V0.03 launches I will be locking the Early Bird tier probably a little earlier than the 500 members mark and opening up the new tier at a not-so-discounted tier price.
I will likely also open up an additional tier specifically for any patrons that would like to support the project more generously. The additional tier will probably include a few extra bonus perks like having your name in the game credits as well as Discord VIP badges and private VIP member channels.
Of course nothing changes for anyone currently on the Early Bird tier that wants to remain on that tier, you will continue to receive every new game release forever 😊
