1st Of The Month Money And Self Assurance Ritual/ Candle Spell

Good morning moon babes! Happy September! It has been another wild week for me, I am back in the south in Wilmington with my dad and got caught up in another hurricane, the energy has been wild but also super transformative. With today being a day I like focusing on money work, and it being a friday and in my practice I always try to dedicate this day every week to Aphrodite. I wanted to make a ritual that is both good for self love and assurance that focuses on bringing more money, abundance in all things, and bringing in more self confidence.

As today is the first of the month, I went through my dads home and spiritually cleansed it lightly. I did this with a bell and prayers to keep smoke out of his home, a quick spelled coffee moment with cinnamon and sugar, we cleaned up the backyard and I spent some time praying over his plants while we did that to make sure they are happy and bringing in abundance, and swept the home from back to front going out the front door and through the porch. These are all low key things you can do that don’t look super witchy, just helpful around the home hehe.

Things you'll need:

-Red candles 5 of them or white ones - These are for strength, protecting the abundance you're bringing in and and beauty.

-Chamomile - For protection, abundance, luck, and beauty

-Peppermint - for protection, luck, wealth,

-Rose - for beauty, protection, attracting wealth,

-Aphrodite oil

-Dill- This is bombbb for luck protecting against evil eye when doing luck and abundance work, beauty

-Aphrodite Oil

-Passion flower - to add passion for all things you do, attraction, allure, and sensuality.

-Bell or incense to cleanse your items

-(I used a few of my favorite crystals and scavenged in my dad’s back yard for items that would align with this and found he had a grape vine growing plush and full, as well as some daisies. He also has a bunch of fossilized sea urchins lining his pool that are literally millions of years old that I used 3 of. Add anything else into this spell to make it your own!

HOW TO CAST:

Cleanse your space, your hands, and your tools spiritually and make sure your altar or wherever you are casting your ritual. The set up for this spell is like most others, if you want to bring down any spirits or call upon deities please lay fresh water, offerings, alcohol, or otherwise for them prior to starting the ritual, and make sure to spend time grounding your energy and setting your protections. (Whatever you feel is needed for this, maybe its a black candle, maybe it's calling the corners ect.)

Gather all of your supplies and spend time activating them and telling them what you would like to do and how you plan on utilizing their energy. Meditate with the spirit of the herbs and items you're using in your ritual. If you are using incense light your incense and begin prepping your candles. I etched my ancestors' sigil, money symbols, and attraction symbols on the red candles, anointed them with my siren and fast luck oil then set them aside to make my herbal blend.

After activating all of the herbs I combine them into a small bowl and use my fingers to break up the elements and combine them all, mixing and praying over them the whole time. I will pray over and combine them for at least 5 minutes with my hand then dress my 5 red candles. Once your candles are dressed attach them to your fire proof dish and place some of the leftover herbal blend onto the base of your dish while praying over your work, (this can be simply in your mind about how you are commanding and willing this working to be true, get specific about the money you're wishing to bring in, how it will come in, how you will feel and act when it is yours, and how your self worth and assurance is not tied to money or attributes you attain.

Once your candles and plate are ready you may ring your bell to bring in your spirits/ finalize the working for those who use them in this manor, or use the bell to bring in more energy. Then as you are lighting the candles recite the spell 5 times.

Bountiful, plentiful, ample, in all things of my highest good.

My spirit is overflowing with plentiful and Luxuriant abundance,

My energy offers a myriad of richness, not just in wealth, in health, happyness, opportunities, friendships.

My aura is exuberant and powerful, untouchable by things that do not align with me.

May this spell not turn on me, and harm no one so mote it be.
