Protection Spiritual Cologne Recipe

Good afternoon moon babes! Yesterday I was on live talking about a protection cologne I'm currently brewing up, it’s something I literally made two days ago but a lot of you guys wanted the recipe on patreon so you can make it along with me! I ADORE spiritual colognes and make a ton of them in my practice, they are something I use every day, multiple times a day to keep my spiritual hygiene up and me grounded and protected along my journey.

This isnt going to be a full “tutorial” as im actively working this, but it can be more of a “follow with me!” I will update this as I strain, use, ect.

This specific cologne is another take on a protection cologne, inspired by a bottle of rice wine my best friend gave me. Rice is bomb for absorbing, prosperity, wisdom, abundance and so forth so I immediately set the bottle aside and grabbed my herbs.

Any clear alcohol will work for this.

Things Used:

-Clear jar (tbh if I had an amber glass jar with a lid big enough this would have been better.)

-Motherwort

-Frankincense

-Black pepper

-Yarrow

-Hyssop

-Basil

-Vervain

-Sweet loose tobacco

-Plantain Root

-Rice Wine

How I made it:

For this I did my typical pre ritual cleansing routine, gave my ancestors fresh water and lit their candle, then offered them an incense that matched with the intention of this protection cologne, (I used ‘away evil’). These two things are simple offerings you can / could always lay down for them before any energy work. From there I cleansed my mason jar with the smoke from my ancestors' altar, I personally took all of the herbs out one by one, activated them, presented them to my ancestors then put them into the jar. Once all herbs were in there I shut the jar and shook my prayers and energy into the jar, once I felt the prayers and energy had been properly pushed into the herbs I opened it back up and poured the alcohol over the herbs. You have to fill enough  liquid to completely cover the herbs and have extra liquid on top. As you are pouring the alcohol in prayer to the spirit of the alcohol, the herbs, and your spirits for your protection, their blessings in keeping you spiritually protected and guided.

Once you have covered your herbs with the alcohol, close your jar tightly, you then should shake / combine your alcohol and herbs together with your continued prayers for a few minutes. You will do this every day for at least two weeks. Shaking the jar every day then placing it in a cool dark place to combine fully. After the two weeks (or longer) we can strain and begin using the cologne, I will be back when I strain mine for updates and how I like this blend!
