Good morning moon babes! Happy Thursday, today I wanted to share a spicy take on black salt, a protective salt that a lot of spiritualists make and love. Salt is known to both absorb negative energy, while also creating barriers for your space and safety. You can place this baneful protection salt on your thresholds, above your doors, in small spell bottles placed around your home, you can anoint a black or white candle with it, in your car, some in a bottle in your purse to keep you protected, or truly ANY way you'd like.

The purpose of this is that if you do pick up any negative energy or spellwork that not only this salt absorbs it but there is a built in spicy ward for those who sent the energy your way, think of a rubber band being snapped, they send you the energy then immediately are slapped with your own.

The way I love and adore black salt, I give it to literally everyone in my life and you can use it in SO many different ways in your practice and everyday. Add your

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:

-Ash  - from incense smoke, petitions ancestor money, anything from workings really

-Poppy seeds - for confusion, and arguments

-Chilli flakes -to heat them up, burn them.

-Sulfur - Uncrossing , removes hexe’s, reversals

-Cayenne pepper - protection, strength, add heat, pushes someone or something away.

-Willow bark - this grants wishes, but also is bomb for delivering people a healthy dose of their own medicine or whatever they sent you.

-Valerian - here we want to use this to add stress and uncomfort in their lives.

-Vinegar - purifies, but can also DEEPLY burn someone, I like to think of lemon, or vinegar in a cut.

Slippery elm - you can separate people with this herb.

-Mistletoe - This is a bomb herb for love, yes but its also poisonous and can tear people up in many different ways, their love lives, abundance, so on.

-Stinging Nettle -

-Dragon's blood resin - for strength and banishing.

-Vetiver - silences others speaking ill of you

-A bowl

-A spoon

How To Cast:

For this we actually do not want to cleanse your space, what you want to do is use a broom or even just your hands and invision all of the negative energy that might be in your space into your hands, you want to gather it into a small ball visualizing the soft edges or shape you hold it in, don't cleanse your jar and push that energy into your jar. We want to utilize any negative energy in your space instead of casting it out for this ritual.

Gather all of your herbs, ash, and tools, activating them one by one, telling the spirit of each herb and tool their purpose then placing them into your bowl. Once all ingredients have been activated and added into your bowl spend time praying over or meditating over your baneful black salt mix. Pushing your energy and will further into the blend.

Chant the spell over your salt mixture while you stir and combine the ingredients 5 times. Then leave it on your altar to charge for 24 hours before you use it.

Spell:

Salt, ash, herb, and spirit,

Spicy, hot, unbearable, a fiery inferno awaits.

Anyone who meets the energy of this salt and tries to harm my spirit and aura.
