Comprehensive Herbal List Of My Personal Apothecary Pt.2

Good afternoon moon babes and happy Sunday! Today I wanted to bring back some of the herbal breakdowns I have shared in the past - a Compilation of herbs that I am making labels for / adding onto the shop and will be using in spells and workings a bit more. You can utilize this list / print it out / save it for quick herbal research when making blends and spells! 

Remember, for the herbs below I am writing the associations from a hoodoo/ ATR standpoint (not that these are closed to hoodoo) and while there are a ton of associations to every herb I might not be speaking to other cultures' associations with those specific herbs!

Annatto Seed:

 is used for protective and repulsion (removing energies) purposes, Hoodoo and Voodoo practices use it to repel harm and negativity. Scatter the seeds around the home, add to mojo/charm bags and bottles. A “medicine” pouch can be made to wear in order to provide an auric protection.

Tansy:

Everlasting life, protection, resistance, healing, attracting food spirits, tranquility, longevity, and cleansing 

Amla:

Cleansing, purging, rejuvenating and calming, end cycle of life and death, immortality

Cacao Nibs:

Heart opening, self love and connection, inner peace, intuition, releasing trauma, meditation, creativity, emotional release, mood booster.

Bloodroot:

Healing, strength, protection, repelling negativity, love drawing, cleansing, purification, family protection,  Connected to Bastet, can be used to replace blood in some rituals.

Buchu Leaf:

Divination, clear sight, connection to ancestral line, cleansing, mental transformation, prophetic dreams, ward off evil entities and influences, protection.

Bonset:

Letting go, well being, breaking up partnerships, purification, warding from hexes and crossings, legal matters, money drawing, associated with Bast.

Lemon Verbena:

Spiritual growth, healing, dispelling negativity, breaking bad habits, inner child work, personal clarity, confidence.

Periwinkle:

Purity, everlasting love, serenity, protection, exorcism, necromancy, fidelity, reduce anger, lust, draws money, clarity, Associated with Venus.

Olive:

Prosperity, healing, good luck, keeping evil forces and spirits away, fertility and potency, good fortune, lust, security in relationships, better business, fidelity, protection, and peace.

Goldenrod:

Love, prosperity, power, divination, wealth, good luck, healing, good to remove the sting of heartache.

Yellow Dock Root:

Prosperity, grief, emotional release, financial stability, vitality, transformation, lifting emotional burdens, anxiety, trauma work, mental cleanse, money drawing, purification, centering.

Papaya Leaf:

Growth, resilience, abundance, love, protection, femininity, harmony.

Chicory Root:

Faithfulness, endurance, protection from negative influences, overcoming challenges, strength, removing obstacles, curse removal, divination, adding luck to a situation, spiritual enhancements, and perseverance

Chaparral Leaf:

Ward off negative energy, purification, aids in building an emotional foundation, lust, protection, resilience, cleansing.

Hemp Seed:

Divinity,  spiritual awakenings, relaxation, boost focus, spiritual protection, mental clarity, 

Grains Of Paradise:

Good fortune, protection, repelling enemies and negative entities, gambling, getting a job, wealth, fidelity workings, stability, cleansing, removal of hexes.

ElderFlower:

Transition, healing, new beginnings, rebirth, assistance moving through tough times, ward off evil spirits, vivid dreams, fae realms, remove negative influences.
