Some notes on the release:
Action context take precedence over Group context in each of the fields - Location, Wear, Free Text.
Inspector now displays the current context for better control when you are creating a scene
Useful icons on actions displayed in BAM:
→ - means that this action is linked TO selected action
← - means that selected action is linked to this action
↔ - there's a two way connection between this action and selected one
● - this marks a selected action
Item selector has changed it's shape to a dropdown with a "+" sign. It takes much less space this way
When in mark mode, clicking the group bar will select all actions in the group even when the group is folded
Copy Routing - copies the linked actions of the selected action to the ones you'll mark.
Copy Fields - copies When, Effect, All Context Fields, Trigger Message. This should be used when you've created several actions already but then it turns out that most of the text you'd need to copy paste - I find it useful
Assign To - Group/Layer is pretty self explanatory
Action Routing - goes into the mark mode when you can select the actions that you want to link. This fully replaces the old Action Routing slide-out but the latter has more space for complex scenes (2 rows instead of one). Time will tell if old solution will be replaced or 2 will function along side.
There will be a tutorial video on using BAM! in near future when it goes out of early access.
