The Weirdest Crossover (commission)

Alright, this is quite an exceptional case where I had to replace the main image with blurred warning because I feel pretty thorn in between. I know I usually hide disturbing things in attachments and feel a bit awkward when I have to openly post my freaky TF stuff and yet it still felt more or less acceptable but here I think it goes too far while I can't just hide everything in attachments and talk about my work without any visible art above the text so I had to take some measures for a compromise.

I found myself a new friend (who as a commissioner preferred to stay anonymous) which tastes for really weird fetish stuff match with mine QUITE well, even a bit too well I can say lol. After talking about stuff we both enjoy and characters we're horny for it was a nice surprise to discover that we both love the same characters from anime Bleach I loved as a teen. I already mentioned it earlier that my affection for human characters grew stronger in recent months and I want to draw them more often, two of them are Renji and Ichigo from Bleach, they were my teenage crushes and the first characters I ever drew nsfw art of, now I realize that I still love them and wanna do all sorts of crazy things to them. Thankfully I finally found a person to motivate me.

But, as I said, I wanna do CRAZY things and my new friend fully shared my cravings. Sharing ideas with each other led to an interesting conclusion that the concept of Ito Junji's manga Gyo has a good potential for extremely filthy fetish art.
Ito Junji is a very well known author but I guess there's still people who don't care much about Japanese stuff so I guess I need to clarify some things.
Ito Junji is probably the most famous horror manga author, very productive and creative artist with unique art style, I'm a fan of his works ever since I was 15 years old. Uzumaki is his most known work but there's also some other pretty popular ones and Gyo is one of them.

Long story short, Gyo tells about mysterious walking crab-like machines which came from sea, they capture live creatures and paralyze them with unknown virus which makes the body produce lots of disgustingly stinky gas, the machine attach tubes to a captured body and uses the gas to walk, like a steam machine. Interestingly, the gas has some sort of its own consciousness which makes these very primitive machines function almost like live creatures. It all starts with fish since these machines came from sea but then they start infecting and capturing humans and that's the interesting part.

Ito Junji is also a very chaste author, humans in his works are devoid of any suggestiveness or vulgar behavior and look pretty innocent. Sexuality, nudity and even just embarrassing bodily functions humor is simply non-existent in the world of Ito Junji manga, it may seem strange but it's something I also love about his works as well.

However, his Gyo is an odd exception. It's still nothing openly sexual but it has scenes showing infected humans farting like crazy and machine tubes being shoved in their butts to use the gas for functioning.


Here's few examples.

It's quite strange to see something like this coming from Ito Junji and this is exactly why we found this concept inspiring. Obviously, the way Ito draws humans here is nothing for me to call attractive but who said we can't tweak the concept in our favor? The thing is, the story of Gyo also mentions that some people like the main character are immune to this mysterious virus which makes the apocalyptic open ending a bit less grim and gives some hope. We thought "What if there was the third type of people besides the ones who're immune to the virus and the ones not immune? The type of people which body starts "adapting" to the virus and all the horrible transformations it causes, it changes both the body and mind, making the person actually enjoy the process, feel more and more attracted (read horny) for their body and the bodies of other humans who shared the same fate, gradually turning into mindless perverts obsessed with nothing but living in hedonism of endlessly enjoying their body functions, constant gas producing and grotesque transformations, simply becoming one unity with that live gas but on a different level than what shown in manga. We also thought that handsome males of a certain age range are the only ones capable of this "adaption" lol but these are clearly just very horny fantasies for us to use as an excuse for wanting to see just a bunch of handsome guys turned into walking gas machines. Why not though? The concept is already absurd and too obviously horny.

Anyway, we decided to make Renji and Ichigo our victims for this fantasy. It may sound very random but at least we can say that the story of Gyo starts in Tokyo and then spreads across the country and Bleach story is set in Japan so it's not completely absurd, there's still a way to imagine it actually happening.

As you can see, we were NOT holding back with this. We combined our love for freaky faces pushed to extreme, inflation, gas fetish and some pretty morbid apocalyptic bio mechanoid body horror setup. I love stuff like that, I'm glad to find somebody who shares the same tastes and it was fun to play with such unique new idea. You can pretty much tell it's definitely the first attempt to sexualize the concept of Gyo to ever exist, as well as the most disturbing and crazy Bleach fan art ever. This is actually what I love a lot about such art, I love to do extreme things to seemingly normal characters who're too nice, too handsome and too normal to do weird things with, usually such characters get only simple vanilla pin ups and sadly this is what happens to Bleach characters as well. Extreme hyper inflation/fat art or anything gross with them is almost non-existent and hopefully I can fix it starting with this piece.
Also speaking of obviously horny concepts, we "modified" these walking machines for those lucky ones which bodies are capable of "adapting" to the virus in this hedonistic way and gave them special parts that constantly milk their cocks and jerk their balls to keep the captive constantly satisfied and sexually stimulated.

I also tried to adapt this artwork to a wider audience by making alts with normal faces as you can see. I know it's not enough to tone down the body horror aspect fully to zero, it still has all the weird tubes, infected body texture, creepy mechanoids and grim background but overall it feels way more like a regular inflation art this way, I thought maybe more people might enjoy it like that. I enjoyed it a lot myself, even though it was initially just for patrons I like to see this stuff being done to original characters with their sexy handsome faces despite how much I love the idea of ugly transformations.

One more thing to point out about why this work is an important experience for me is that it's the first time I had to deal with extra challenge of drawing colored body hair. You see, I'm surely good at drawing body hair but I always draw it black. I love black body hair and it's easier to draw, I just draw lines of the same color and it looks convincing because black is a dark color which barely has any visible lights and shadows while brighter body hair like ginger will look flat if you draw it with just one color, it needs some hairs to be brighter or darker but I thought I lack skills for it, I tried to do it just once but it didn't look good at all. Here I just had no choice, after trying to draw black hair I realized it just doesn't look natural on Renji and Ichigo, so I tried my best to make it look right and I think I succeeded, at least I feel very satisfied with the results.

And just in general I feel pretty proud of this work no matter how disturbing, absurd and awkward it may feel. I did a lot of big complex artworks in these years, some with very elaborate backgrounds and lots of details but this one looks like maybe the most detailed artwork I ever done, I even want to post this photo of me holding the drawing on my AD to show that I actually did it with a pencil.

I think that's all I wanted to say about this piece. I warned you that new commission is gonna be really extreme and weird and now you can see that I WEREN'T kidding. I know there's some people here who'll definitely enjoy it a lot and I apologize if you're one of those who don't really like such stuff, I just can't help it, I love to draw that shit and I found too many fans and commissioners eager see more of it, so it's hard to not succumb to it at least from time to time. My next planned commissions and personal artworks are gonna be much more normal than this, some nice fat and inflation works will come pretty soon!
