Honestly even if they didn’t further develop the brotherly relationship in real time - they needed to show us more of them as kids so we could understand their stilted relationship now. Even like an implication that they always fought over Steven and Belly’s attention(as best friends while kids or just for time with their mom and dad) to help explain the future dynamic. They didn’t have to be close but they had to SHOW us whyyyyy. 😭

2025-10-03 18:54:27 +0000 UTCA wonderful contrast to this show full of teen drama would be the British series Last Tango in Halifax - it's about a couple that reunites later in life (in their 70s), and their adult children (in their 40s) and grandchildren (teens-early-20s, not really the focus). The interpersonal relationships are all really well written (and performed) and interesting. There's also a queer storyline, if that makes it any more enticing! Honestly, almost anything by that writer/director has amazing characterization and dialogue. Happy Valley is the other big (huge!) one by her (starring one of the same main actors), that one has added police drama. Or Gentleman Jack (period drama based on real people/secret diaries - the main character having been described as "the first modern lesbian", apparently). All three of those series are set in the north of England (Yorkshire), so might be a challenge for your accent chops! Would be fun.

I would hear from here EVERY DAY she hadnt called in 3 days, I was so fcking worried. I was able to get her door open... I found her on the bottom of her stairs... very graphic and fucked cus she didn't deserve to go out like that. For a few months I was severely depressed and every time I tried to sleep, I just saw her laying there.. same with blinking.. I was working at a dispo at that point, I was communicating and telling them what's happening. They didn't give two fucks. I went in one day and left 4 hours into the shift because I kept crying. It was only a week. Then after I reported a sexual harassment (completely different story) literally the next day I was fired... the guy who harassed me still worked there. I found out that they fired me on false accusations and just team leaders lying. Forgetting, that theres cameras. The day I left 4 hours into the shift they told HR I was a no call no show. And I said thats not true, I was there I just left. Anddd the other times they said I was a no call no show. I called and told them I wasn't okay and needed a day off, I also texted that to the GM and other team members in a app we all use to message the GM. I told HR that I either need to be re hired AND paid for the days that I missed because of negligence I also need a raise. OR I will sue for firing me under false statements and bullying from. I also knew secrets of somethings that would ruin the company and I said so. I got all the back from missing and I went back to work. But low key wish I sued them. 🤣 I wouldve had a home and pay for it every month with no problem lol ugh. But they talked about me and made fun of the fact I found my family member in a pool of her blood. I tried communicating why I was the way I was. But it was used against me a lot while I was working there lol it was fucked. They made fun of my miscarriage and said the music I played was for heroine addicts. Ugh. So much trauma for no reason.. :( I'm sorry for trauma dumping lmao I payed 10 dollars to do so I guess 🤣🤣😅😅 love you guys! Im sorry to anyone who read this and felt like they wasted their life 😅😅
