Computer Issues and Delays

My cooling system in my computer seems to be failing as my CPU is overheating on a daily basis, slowing everything down. I ordered a new cooling fan but it won't arrive until mid next week unfortunately. -_- Until then I'm going to try and still work but my computer might crap out before long. I've had it for several years so it seems about that time for things to start failing on me. I appreciate everyone's patience during this and hopefully changing the cooling system will get things back in working order.

Oh yeah, I tried that. Problem is I thought Best Buy was still a good place to just walk in and pick up computer parts. Now it's nothing but TVs and fridges. I can order parts but they're about as quick as Amazon getting them in to pick up. ๐

2024-12-06 18:18:46 +0000 UTCI did, yep. the paste I ordered should be in before the fan, so I'm going to apply that before installing the new fan to see if that works. if it does I can just send the fan back. :)

2024-12-06 18:17:42 +0000 UTCI presume you've tried blowing all the dust off the fins and possibly reapplying thermal paste? Either ways I hope this solves your issue. I used to run a giant Noctua cpu fan
