An impressive performance indeed! As the winner, someboredloser received a free year of the Gold+ tier on Patreon!
Runner-up Avril Soulsavant, also on Discord, achieved the impressive, near four digit score of 984.
Avril was in first place for several weeks before somboredloser took the lead. Avril also managed to pull off this second highest score using a trackpad (meaning they couldn’t easily perform counterspells), making their score all the more impressive.
Finally, I also randomly selected one user to receive a prize from those who entered by submitting at least one score. The winner of this raffle was Discord user Shupdup! Their score was a still impressive 764!
As winner of the raffle, Shupdup also received one year of Gold+!
Thanks so much to everyone who participated and submitted scores! This actually wound up being more fun than I thought, and the response was pretty good! I think the length of the contest being around 6 weeks was too long, and the scoring of the game mode probably does need some further refinement, but I feel like this went pretty well, so we’ll do it again sometime!
