The Steam release of Succubus Stories is scheduled for one week from now, on September 19. I have some final testing I want to do on the last couple of achievements to make sure they're all possible to get, but other than that, we're in good shape! Here's a last minute Q&A for the Steam release. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask in the comments.

The Steam Edition will cost $6, but will launch with a temporary 20% discount for the first week.
Patrons will have the opportunity to get a Steam key via the Patron Edition's Itch page, which will be released in a few different batches over the next week or so. If you miss the window where I distribute keys to patrons, you can contact me and I'll send you a key if you paid over $6 in Patreon membership fees at any time prior to September 1, 2025. The first batch of keys will be made available in a few days; I'll post about it so you know when!
You will gain permanent access to all past, present, and future Patreon-exclusive outfits (there are currently 15 premium outfits). Any future Patreon-only content or features will also come to the Steam Edition. The Steam Edition will also feature various Steam integrations, like achievements, which the other editions both lack.
The Patreon Edition will still receive the normal one-week early access to new updates and the existing cheat/convenience features will remain exclusive to the Patreon Edition, so patrons will still get a little more.
As to whether it's worth it to upgrade for a Free Edition player, that's up to you. You'll receive 15 outfits (plus access to future premium outfits) for $6, and I'd say that's the main upgrade here. If the outfits aren't worth it to you, there's really no reason to upgrade at this time.
Of course, the Steam Edition is also a great way to support me and my future endeavors if you prefer a one-time payment to the subscription model of Patreon.
Yes. In much the same way as before, other than some premium content like the outfits, everything else will eventually come to the Free Edition.
Yes. In fact, if you're on the same machine, all saves from Windows builds of the game should automatically carry over, but you can also with the Save to/Load from Disk feature to transfer saves. However, keep in mind that when carrying on with an existing save, you will not unlock achievements for most past actions. For example, if you've already reached chapter 3, you cannot unlock the achievements for completing the prologue and chapters 1 and 2 on that save. If you're trying to unlock all the achievements, you'll need to start a fresh game or utilize new game + mode.
At this time, no. I may update this later. Cloud saves looked like they'd be kind of complicated because of how saves in SS work, so I decided to put it off for now.
Initially this was the case (though you would need to play in a specific way and make certain specific decisions), but I made the decision to add an achievement for beating the game on new game + mode, and while I'm sure some people won't like this, I think it's a good idea to encourage replaying the game because of how much variation the game has, plus new game + is a breeze, so it's not that big of a deal, in my opinion.
