OLD NEWS for August 1st 2024

Beyond is the new series I'm going to start. I'm going to try something different and write it in episodes with 10~ chapters per season. Each chapter will also be longer than the standard. I'm aiming for 5k~ per with some variation.

I've been doing some research into lesser used villains and ones from other sources I can grab. That way it isn't the standard Rogue's Gallery. Some of the classics will show up in an adapted version but I want some variety. Feel free to suggest a possible villain/character that would fit a Cyberpunk setting. I'm going for something of a mix of Batman Beyond and Spider-Man 2099 but not so 'clean'. We'll see how it comes out.

Finding a design for a new suit has been challenging.

Misunderstanding in Metropolis is the other story that was voted on. I want to write it, but it's going to be a short series topping out at 5 chapters at the very most. Probably more like 2-3 if I'm honest.

In other news, the travel time in Westeros is ridiculous. They say that it would take 165 days to travel from Kings Landing to Winterfell. That's like 10 miles a day. Going at a 'normal' projected speed of 32 miles per day, it would only take around 50. That's including time given for making camp and weather. At least, that's what I'm going with. I'm using D&D travel times as a guide because half a year is too long.

As stated above, the Peace and Quiet series is coming to a close. I feel like keeping it going is getting stale.

• News on My Side of the Screen:

My car turned into a paperweight. It's literally worth more as scrap than it is as a trade-in. Once I get that handled I'm going to try and take regular commissions so I can save up to get a new-to-me vehicle. This will slow down my chapter posting. I'm aiming for 2 a week and making them worth it with a minimum wordcount of 2k. You'll start seeing page-breaks more often rather than the end of a chapter.

I had considered trying my hand at writing an original erotica book to sell online. Not sure how that would go, or if all of you would want to read it. That isn't what you signed up for. Plus, they pay in 90 day intervals and it's best to have book 3 already written by the time book 1 is on the market.
