Here's a video showing off the new things I've added to the game so far! I'm shooting for a early June release of the new update with a lot more content than this. Slime wall boss fight/chase sequence, Grifo (bird enemy), and man eating plant to all be in as well as some new Jungle levels :3. But this is a lot of what I have so far.
List of additions
-New combat mechanics, slimes, wolves, birds, and bats are all defeatable enemies
-New little bat enemy that swoops down and attacks the player when startled
-Grifo the bird enemy now has an early implementation the ai is going to be tweaked a lot
-Created a system that unsticks the player if they get inside the terrain
-Made moving platforms have one way collision to prevent the player from getting shoved into the ground
-The mouth enemy is now a gatekeeper that you have to bargain with to complete one of the levels
-Health draining has been fixed with the slimes
-More difficulty tweaks
-Added intro cutscene
-Brand new tutorial and tutorial cards and books
-New music
-Slime battle arena level
-New currency system
-Breakable pots that contain items (any maybe some mystery surprises)
-Breakable lamps
-Cute little micros the player can eat to gain health. I'm thinking that some higher teir patrons would be able to add their own oc's to be micros <3
-Swinging slime enemies
-Reworked levels to prevent backtracking
-New hub area
-New sliding mechanic
-More things that I'm forgetting lol
