6/6/2025 Progress Update: Developer Isn’t Doing Too Well

Hello Meerkats!

Your favorite TGTF game developer is in the hospital. As some of you may know already, my health isn't doing so well. I'm not going to get into details, but I will probably be in here for a few days and progress on the game will be going slower than it has been this past week.

And, I won't lie to you all, it's already been going pretty slowly.

It's been about a week since release, and I've gotten... 2k words done. I typically get that done in a day. I love working on this game, but I just have not had the energy to do anything other than sleep and occasionally play video games.

Now, this does not mean the game is canceled or that there will be a significant delay. I can't make any promises, but I will do my very best to get this update out before the month ends. After all, Lily was the most popular option for this shopping trip. Progress will probably be slow for the next few days as I recover, but I'll be back at it soon enough.

Now, onto the fun stuff!

Vincent finally has a design! After months since he was introduced, you can finally put a face to the name.

The final design has already been selected.

Also, another CG has been completed! This is for if you let your Ethan try on the goth outfit at ShatterBox.

The paperdoll's hair is also getting replaced. The original artist who created the paperdoll has left the project, so I had to get another artist to do the hair in order to maintain consistency, especially once we start getting new styles.

This also means we have more hair colors for the future! Blondethan, anyone?

The eyes will also be redone soon. Yes, you will be able to change Ethan's eye color. I will try and include as many eye colors as possible. If you have a specific request, feel free to put it down in the comments.

Ethan's paperdoll is getting a new pose! The original paperdoll's pose was meant to be very neutral and basic. But I think we've gotten to the point in the game where a more expressive paperdoll would be great to have.

You won't see this paperdoll pose for a long time, as every single asset has to be remade. In a few months though, we may just have a brand-new Ethan!
