D.Otter V1 VRChat Base (PC + Quest)

Swimming its way into your life like an unwanted pest, D.Otter has arrived!

Just a little project I started one day for fun that turned out to be more in the end! This lil fella is in his early stages of creation. He WILL get updates over time. This is a base model so keep in mind you will be required to have some blender/unity knowledge to create a custom version!

Requirements for upload:

• VCC (VRChat Creator Companion found on the VRChat website)
• Poiyomi Pro 8.2 (Purchased through Poiyomi patreon)

Includes:

• Substance Painter 2022 Files
• Photoshop Files
• Blender Files
• PC and Quest Unity Packages

In-game features:

• FBT ready
• Custom Icons for the menus
• Sliders for body hue, body saturation, left and right eye hues (we DO love heterochromia!), clothing hue, light blush, heavy blush, and chubbiness
• Sleep mode and ??? face
• Ear and Tail puppets
• Toggles for nose point, props (pearl, clam, fish), all hair, top hair only, no hair, cheek fluff, fish sword, and fish in ya mouth
• Now with toggles for t-shirt, bandana, V neck shirt, and 4 decals
• Head pat and Nose boop interaction toggles
• MMD blendshapes

Out-Game:

• Extra blendshapes for smaller nose, skinnier muzzle, thinner cheeks, skinnier neck, no beans, no hand claws, no foot claws (more later)
• PC and Quest version
  • NOTE: I'm new to making quest avatars! the quest version is not optimized very well yet BUT he can still be used! DO NOT put both packages in the same scene. Keep them separate. Upload the pc version first, then upload the quest version OVER your pc versions blueprint ID. This is how my friend taught me, but I will try my best to make my quest versions more optimized and find better ways to work with them!
• 2 textures with a female and male version each with 2 shader types: Toon with black outline and Realistic with fur normal maps
• 3 shirt/bandana textures with alternate striped versions and 4 decals on each material.
• A Full version and a Good Rank Version (the good rank version just excludes the fish)

Customize however you see fit!

This is just the bare bones stage of these lil guys so stay tuned for:

• Bug fixes
  • There are known issues that there is weird weight painting at the base of the tail. For some reason the weights get funky when I import them into unity. Not sure how to fix this yet. Another
• Probably some silly animated dances
• Custom png emotes to fling at friends and foes
• Facetracking
• VRM Files
• Better optimization on the quest version
• Fallback version
• DLC assets, clothes, and textures
• More interactions and custom animations for sitting, crouching, idle movements, and afk pose (i can add gogoloco if you prefer that as well)

By purchasing these models and files, you understand and agree to the following.

What you CAN do:

• Re-texture/Re-design this avatar in any way you see fit.
• Use their assets on other avatars (for personal avatars only!)
• Replace assets, add to, and/or re-rig them.
• Use them for streaming, vtubing, youtubing, and renders (as long as you credit me as the base creator).
• Make commissions for others under these conditions:
  • If the commissioner DID NOT buy the package, you are only allowed to upload the commission to their account.
  • If the commissioner DID buy the package, you are allowed to give them all of the files to their commission.
• Upload custom versions publicly as long as you have a link to this Gumroad page OR my discord in your world/avatar description. (Please give credit to the creator before upload).
  • DO NOT UPLOAD THE ORIGINAL DEFAULT VERSIONS. You MUST make edited/retextured versions in order to upload them!
• Make and sell your own assets made for these models with a link to the base page provided in the description.

What you CAN'T Do:

• Redistribute any files or assets from this package.
• Sell any edits (this might change if I change my mind in the future)
• Publicly post these avatars in their original states.
• Resell any assets/files in this package.
• Take credit for the creation of the models and/or their files.
• Use the model in harmful/hateful ways.
• Use these in the creation of/anything related to NFTs.
