***Carrie will be up tonight!
Hey Coven,
Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends and fam! I always get so homesick in the beginning of October and crave gravy haha. I hope it hasn't snowed where you live in Canada yet and that you had a great t-gives weekend with friends or fam. I'm so thankful for you!
How are all of you enjoying October so far? I felt late to the game and finally decorated my house. We somehow came into possession of a giant 15 foot inflatable skeleton that looks like its coming out of the ground? hmmm how did that happen? It brings me a lot of joy. I'm not going to lie-I've been feeling extremely overwhelmed lately. Lots of stuff happening in my family and extended that has been really hard. I genuinely love that this community and the movies are a place I can escape though and how lucky am I that I have so many friends to vauguley vent to over here ;) jk I know vague internet venting is so annoying. Please forgive me with zombies and vampires! Trying as always to focus on the good whilst breathing into my metaphorical paper bag. Ben and I celebrated our anni this week, my mums are mumming so hard, Utah Mammoth hockey started back up and I honored Diane Keaton's passing with Something's Gotta Give, Father of the Bride 2 and Because I Said So and they are just the coziest and she steals every scene.
This week we have Train to Busan, Final Destination and Nosferatu (1922) WHAT!? Zombies, Vampires and ??? I dont know. Is 1922 my oldest movie yet? My goal is to make it a YT double feature next week with the one from 2024! I am not kidding-that cover for the 1922 version is one of the scariest things I have seen. I want to stop looking at it.
For YT we have Blair Witch, Carrie and the S2 9&10 episodes of GOT. I mentioned before that I will be taking a one week break from GOT this week in between seasons. I shall miss my wolves.
Extra Butter LIVE this month will be a watch along on 10/22!
Thanks for everything always my friends-love you chick a cherry cola!
Cassie

HAHHAHAHA I was totally laughing at her reaction scenes to Stifler being cut off literally in the train tracks plus the bus runover that girl. And yes there's 6 final desintations and since you said you wanna watch part 2, GO FOR IT!! GO ALL IN UNTIL THE 6TH ONE it's gonna be a wild ride, Cassie.

2025-10-23 01:28:07 +0000 UTC+1's for Vicky Cristina Barcelona (that would be the one I'd pick for Cassie), but also Thelma & Louise (How has she not?), Escape From Alcatraz and The Deer Hunter. I'm sure the rest are all good films, but those are the ones that are on my list.
