Dear Patrons

Another "this is probably the last" JKXR update for you. Pretty much all the issues on the Trello board that we feel are important have now been addressed, and Bummser is feverishly working away at curating a great set of mods for the launcher (which will be a separate update at some point), all prior to a full public release.

The biggest change for this release is the fact that with the Team Beef Director's Cut settings enabled (which is the default), the saber now feels and works exactly as it does in JKO, which we always felt was a superior feel for VR.

There are a number of saber and sword-play related changes in this update (as you can see from the changelog below), which greatly improve the feel of the game in VR, we hope you agree.

Changelog

Make saber combat in JKA match JKO (this is a Team Beef Directors Cut change, to revert to the original JKA saber logic disable TBDC)
Let the saber cut through sand people like butter - That'll learn 'em
Let Noghri also be sliced up easily - They also need to learn not to mess
Staff-saber now allows bottom blade to be shut off (use B button to switch to single and then no blades)
Re-instated force level 3 saber throw enemy seek from JKO in JKA (the JKA implementation didn't feel quite right)
Don't trigger haptics when blade hits solid if saber is in flight
Ensure player hand is drawn when throwing one of the dual sabers
Fixed not being able to use turret guns when saber equipped
Ensure roll is used when in scope (a bit more comfortable)
Attempt to prevent yaw lock when death slo mo
Fix issue with frozen or enemy lasers firing in the wrong direction consistently
Tweak to the cheat menu's saber assignments to ensure proper hilts and save game state
Add Sith Sword to the built-in (hidden) cheat menu
