We can no longer say we are not questioning effort. We absolutely are. Players are not moving, not tracking back, not playing a quick free kick, not attempting to find any solutions. Some have the fear and are in the wrong arena. And they’ve chucked it. Some are just shite quality and they’ve chucked it. We cannot go after Röhl. I hope I am wrong but I feel the squad won’t be ready, healthy and competitive until August 2027. Four windows and we’ll need to get it spot on pretty much as for a squad we need 16-20 new players. Beyond belief and the biggest question going forward is what as fans are we going to do? Accept and be patient, go after another manager or stay away?

2025-12-02 12:04:59 +0000 UTCEvery minute we play one of Thelwell’s loan players we press a button somewhere that accelerates the depreciation/amortisation of players like Cameron and Curtis. Thelwell did such a good job of destroying the squad that we also don’t have much choice in the matter currently. Igamane looks like he could be flipped for £20-30m in his present form which when you throw in the £8.5M for Chermiti has hammered the club for £20m with no return. Trusting multimillion pound business decisions to a cone and balls tracksuit diddy is 2012 levels of business practice. Thelwell should never work in football again.
