I really dig this illustration, the character demands such rendering. I still gotta get use to the very visible patterns it gives, the intense dark mood too. It's easy to go too dark, all the more for me as my taste leans towards dark & darker! I guess that's why my latest panels in LUST are darker than the first chapter 4 pages, I just force more on the graphite tools, silly me!
Anyway, the other issue is that it takes time! I'm torn cause I hoped to draw quicker with the digital tools and YES I do, but I'm still a slow artist and I want to produce more: this new comic has lots to say, the story is very promising (the visuals & actions too, you can trust me, hehehehehe!!).
At some point I'm gonna try both ways (with colors) & it's gonna be the time to make the right move.
