Added 2021-03-30 18:13:25 +0000 UTCAfter the complete sketch comes the inking, I serve it also as a black & white high contrast rendering here cause, well, I like it, with the double contour white, which enhances the black inking around the body. Next stage is gonna be some light shadows with the ink (not as I perform for the Nimo comic, for instance) + the background.
I feel I rendered the classic expression of the actor pretty well, hehe!

XD That's why I explore some lighter ways, and guess what, I took your inking as reference, you got a fabulous way to show some shadows with very few lines, I try to find my new recipe haha!! That's why I like this special stage where you only see the inking, I learned a lot these past month & now I can say I'm at peace with this step, ha! Digital inking made me LOVE inking, which is unbelievable to me. SO glad you like it, my friend! Merci infiniment, mon cher Patrick ! XOXOX

Not that I don't enjoy your cross-hatching work, but I just have a thing for the very brilliant white spaces between the loving, precise ink lines and thick, bold blacks! It's a gorgeous illustration -- very sexy -- and the likeness is MARVELOUS!!!! SUUUUPERB TRAVAIL!!!! 👏👏👏😍😍😍
