LUSTory #01 (NSFW ThrowBackThursday)

A new rendez-vous, my dear patrons: I pay hommage to my beloved first gay adult comic "LUST" with a retrospective/introspective view. A look back at some of the most marking panels of the series, crossing with parts of the step by steps showing some layers from the sketch to the final piece. Panels you (re)discover in a higher size/resolution.

I couldn't not start without this incredible panel from the first chapter, in page 2 with the title on it in the layout. Remember all the artwork is all traditional, except for the dark shadows version which made it to the final page: I created that variation in Photoshop back in the days.

Although I worked hard on the pre-production, the amount of time spent there was huge. I won't lie, around page 4 or 5 I did think about giving up. YES, you read it well, I realized that the project would cost me so many hours, struggles, I also knew my anatomy wasn't necessarily there, lack of talent, etc. I fought the inner voices & demons to go beyond. The rest is my story, our story, and for sure, LUSTory!
