My view on this famous character had to involve the power, the beam, hehe! I intend to render it with a classic inking from the Byrne / Claremont era that I happen to read again, lately, yay! This old costume of his is pretty simple, I guess I'm gonna do it my way, like the boots, a bit different from the current design. I'm also go for the colors, again a mix between the classic way & my own rendering.
Last point about the face, I'm more inspired by James Marsden who played him in the original X-men movies than the very square jaw I see in the old comics.
