Added 2021-12-16 10:26:16 +0000 UTCAfter the new character introduced in the beginning of the series, the last memory from the 1st chapter won't be the infamous final page, but the 23rd where I first made a huge WINK to the tv show: it's not a shoe hanging from the trees but a... jockstrap! The panel was so small there, just a little wink as I said, in an overall dramatic cliffhanger coming.
I also kept in mind the reaction of the hero finally getting to the beach: in my mind this would play the turning point of what's about to come in the forthcoming chapters. It was important too as we were leaving the jungle scenery for a while.
I like these LUSTory posts, as it gives me a chance to show you some panels not only in a very large size, but in their full glory as I often cropped them to fit the layout of the pages.
Next stop will be... chapter 2!
