The wake up (step by step)
Added 2017-08-02 13:56:41 +0000 UTCThis was so intimidating to draw as it's the very first panel where we clearly see for the first time this character. I'm still not 100% satisfied with the result, but it works well in the first page.
You can see I had issues with the jaw line. The technique I'm using makes the final rendering way beyond the earliest stages, but it means sometimes I struggle at these first steps before realizing it's okay when the work is all done, haha!
Although I enjoy his black suit & tie, it's a pain in the ass to draw. Fortunately, he won't be wearing it too long. ;-)
