Deimos coming for the week-end (smooth)
Added 2018-06-09 16:00:56 +0000 UTCA very soft variation on the Taro Demon. As I'm working on paper, it's harder to create variations of my art. I always admire by artist buddies like Patrick or Tom who manage to propose multiple versions of their artwork.
For some pieces, I scan each stage of the work, translating them as layers one on top of the others, which give me the opportunity to show step by step of the creative process. Commenting with my buddies, I realized that I could postpone the hair layer at the last stage. Then I can create a hairy, PLUS a smooth version of the illustration. Deimos here is the first try out.
In the next weeks I will do the same with my own characters, you tell me your reaction! ;-)
