Aww you're very sweet, thank you! And you're very right: no balloons mean we focus on the art, all the details. As the creator I'm used to know the panels before the layout of the page, in their entirety. But I rediscover them like you when publishing such variation, hehe!

2018-10-30 14:16:45 +0000 UTCI miss the word balloons, but there are things to be gleaned from their absence. The body language and facial expressions stand out much more. It allows me to 'read' the comic from a new perspective. It also shows off just how much detail you put into each panel, something for which I have praised you several times before. :)

2018-10-29 21:12:57 +0000 UTCIn this double-page I almost feel the missing ballons. BTW I left the "BONG" sound, while I removed the giant question mark on the latest panel. Anyway the experience was so interesting here! I recall when drawing page 23, it was almost the end and I was drawing a scene I pictured hundreds of times in my head for years before, never hoping it would come to life! HA! So much have been done since then, woohoo!
