Haircut & cut! (NSFW)
Added 2023-09-12 11:55:01 +0000 UTCThe struggle was real: when I fist got commissioned by Luis to draw the Buddie couple, I used the reference of Eddie sporting longer hair, but I found out it's not my favorite haircut. In season 3 he's got shorter hair & I find it so appealing I did draw him with shorter hair, like for the graphite test I did & Cal's commission.
So when we were pre-producing the Buddie comic, I knew I'd go for shorter hair and I did start all the panels for page 1 this way, even some line art. Then I saw his crazy bed hair, on a side view in a Twitter post of a 911 show fan & I fell in love all over again! I tried the haircut & boom, Luis was on board to change our Eddie into the longer crazy haircut.
For the record, performing the second page, I still learn how to render them properly, I guess it's gonna improve with time & practice, as always!
